Eco Council

The school’s Eco Council meets every half term to make sure that the project has the full involvement of everyone in the school community. Participation in Eco Schools extends education outside the classroom to develop responsible citizens at home and in the wider community.

Council members are chosen by election from each class from Year 2 to Year 6 at the start of every school year.

The Green Flag

In recognition of all our efforts as an Eco School we have been awarded the prestigious Platinum Green Flag. It is an honour to fly the flag above the school in recognition of all the good work that happens at Ysgol Glan Morfa.
